Meet Dr. Haley

About Dr. James Haley, D.C.

Dr. James Haley D.C., better known as Dr. Jimbo, was raised in Lake City, Florida. As a young athlete he swam for the Tigers and later moved to San Antonio, TX, to fulfill his dream of being an Olympian. He trained and competed in Modern Pentathlon and successfully represented the United States at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. He also enjoyed competing in fencing, where at the time he was ranked top 10 in the US, and participated in numerous triathlon and equestrian events as well.

After achieving his goal as an athlete, he focused his attention on his education. He graduated from the University of North Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree with a minor in Psychology. But his heart still yearned for sports and the Olympics, so he decided to work for a Sports Internet Company and later for the World Olympians Association. During this time he continued his commitment to healthy living and prevention of disease.

To combine both of his love of sports and health, he enrolled at Northwestern Health Sciences University, in Bloomington, Minnesota. There he learned the art and science of Chiropractic and Natural Health. Since receiving his Chiropractic License, he has been continually educating himself in many areas of health and healthcare.

As a previous world-class international athlete and Olympian, I have personally endured numerous injuries and pains. As a result of my own experiences, I am able to empathize with others’ pain. My worldwide travels as an athlete have allowed me to study diverse therapeutic remedies.
